Ported 1x12
Porting is an acoustic technique used to emphasise a certain frequency band in a given speaker cabinet. The physical restrictions on smaller cabinets usually result in a weaker low end response and what most players would describe as a thinner sound.

Unfortunately for the boffins it isn't all science... by combining mathematics, physics and over a decade of cabinet design we have taken the absolutism of text books and the art of tone to make what is known in the trade as "a beast".

Due to ported cabs being "tuned" to certain parameters of the speaker the ported 1x12 works optimally with the G12H-75 (H Creamback), but like stated before, it isn't all science. The Ported 1x12 still sounds great with several different speaker options.

Paul says...
"Smaller cabs usually sound smaller, it's the physical result of reduced dimensions. In the case of 1x12's, the lower frequencies that tend to be naturally attenuated. Porting a cab helps boost a certain frequency band, giving results you would expect from a cab without physical restraints... (I.e. it sounds massive!)"
